History
The New Zealand Chinese Football League is an annual football tournament held in Auckland.
The first tournament was held in 2009 as a one-off tournament, however, it's success has now led to the tournament being held annually.

Tournament Rules & Regulations
- This is a 11 a side tournament. Each team is allowed to have 5 subs (NOT Rolling) for each match. More substitutes or rolling sub can be allowed only under a mutual agreement by both teams' manager/coach prior the start of the game and both team coach/manager must inform the match official (Referee) prior to the start of the game (not at half time). But this sub rule exemption will not be applied on the cup final match.
- Law of the game comply through all matches (See AFF website for law of game)
- All teams or players must follow instructions of the referee. The referee’s decision is final.
- All team must have the team cards filled out and submit to the ref/organizer at least 15mins before kickoff. Both team manager/coach must sign the team cards after the match. Referee will keeps the team cards and the cup organizor will collect the team cards by the last match of each round.
- Both teams for the match must make sure all players having the same color of shirt/short/socks following the color mentioned on the above match schedule and it is recommanded to bring the optional color of jersey as spare color of team shirt.
- All team must arrive the match field at least 45 minutes before kickoff time to allow referee to check players' gears and brief the rules. All game must kick off on time. 15 minutes after kick off, any team whom doesn't turn up or doesn't have enough player to play (minimum 7 players), match referee can abandon the match and the match will be considered default with a 3-0 result to the team on the filed with enough players to kick off. Match referee may abandon the match if both teams don't show or don't have enough players to play at 15 minutes after kick off time. Both teams will not have points for this abandoned game and rematch will not be played.
- All teams must play fair. Yellow card will be charged $15 and Red card will be charged $30. Two yellow cards in one game will get a red card. One red card will automatic suspension from the next game. Yellow and Red card fee must be paid before the following round game. Failure to pay, the player awarded yellow or red card will not allow to play until the fee is paid.
- A player will be suspended for 1 match when his booked yellow cards accumulate to 3 yellow cards.
- No tolerance for violent conduct. Player(s) whom commits to violent conduct to player/match official will be banned for the whole tournament.
- Accumulated yellow cards suspension will be waived for the tournament for the last round game. This rule will not be complied on player who has red card.
- Games result and golden boot will be post and send to all teams by email before next match.
- All players must be registered before the opening game of the tournament. No new registration and no transfer during the tournament.
- All rubbish and loose litter (including bottles, tape, plasters, etc) must be removed from the field. That is compulsory requirement for using the field by the Auckland Council or School. Rubbish bags will be arranged by the organizer.
- First and last games when play at Bill Mckinlay park and all players must wear only moulded/soft sole, clean footwear only allowed at the field.
- No smoking in the field.
